Marfa Ignatyevna

Marfa Ignatyevna is Grigory’s wife and a household member whose discovery of the aftermath of Fyodor Pavlovich’s murder brings the crime to light. Waking during the night, she finds Grigory calling weakly for her near the open garden gate, then sees that he is covered with blood. When she looks through Fyodor Pavlovich’s open window, she finds him motionless on the floor.
